Accident In Saskatchewan?

Recommended Posts

Since this accident I have changed my briefing to ensure that no passenger is to approach or depart from the aircraft while the blades are turning. This is acceptable for my application and I understand that it is not always possible but I found it necessary because I constantly work with individuals that have little or no experience around helicopters. I have also started telling all people working around my machine that if they are close enough to crouch and/or feel even the slightest breeze from the machine that everything automatically is done as half speed. Skywork makes a good point that people think that because we are waiting that they have to hurry. We are constantly told to S-L-O-W D-O-W-N so why don't our ground support?

Safe flying to all.
