Are they classed as Dangerous Good's? and would it be classed as limited Access? If #### went sideways? is it not like life jacket?

Just asking in case someone takes a picture and bust's me with transport. "Rat's are out there these days"..

More worried about being "ratted out" than actually being safe an/or legal are we? Nice!

I guess it's safe to say you won't be posting pics of these items loaded in your aircraft online...

Happy New Year Everyone!

Shouldn't the company Operations Manager, Dangerous Goods Coordinator and/or Safety Officer be able to provide you with answers to the questions you are asking? I am pretty sure they have a responsibility to do so...

I think there are allowances for both of these items under ICAO Dangerous Goods regulations under "consumer articles" that allow for carriage of both of these items (even on airlines - with their approval). Therefore, no need for mention in TDGR or 12.9 Limited access.

So I think you are in the clear...with TDGR

Only need to comply with 602.86 of CARs now...

Freewheel,

I enjoy some of the topics on this site because they bring to light some obscure points and rais awareness among its members. On more than one occasion, the topics on this site have been brought up in safety meetings such as carry on baggage. Please don't jump down kitchens throat. Let's make this a comfortable place to ask questions.

Respectfully,

R
