jljohnston79
Does anyone know of any scheduled Rolls Royce C30 or C30/47 field maintenance courses being offered? Have emailed West Point and Standard Aero already. Any other direction would be greatly appreciated. J
Heliian
None, just 250 series. Do you really need a c30 specific one? Maybe essential turbines could help.
flingwinger
Yes he would need a 250 series IV course which would cover C28,c30,c40,c47. Haven't heard of any scheduled. Check the TC list of approved courses and start calling http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviation/standards/maintenance-aarpb-ato-current-531.htm
flingwinger
Sorry after actually reading the list looks like west point is the only one with a series IV course. But some offer the full series, and some only series 2.
sven
Looks like Rolls-Royce Allison in Indianapolis has a course in May for Series IV engine. Northern Lights College has 250 course listed but they do not list Series. Good Luck.

J Hi all, I work at StandardAero and we are hosting a Series IV engine course in Winnipeg next week, March 17-21. This course covers C30, C40, C47 and FADEC overview and is fully authorized by both Transport Canada and Rolls-Royce. We have room for 3 more students on the course if you're interested. You can contact me directly at 204-318-7539. Just for informational purposes, we also provide Series II (C20B, C20R) engine courses from time to time. None, just 250 series.
