A privately registered Heliot, an amateur helicopter, from Lac Manawann, QC to Rivière Falconio, QC sustained an accident, no injuries, extent of damage unknown. Transportation Safety Board (TSB) advised. Date: 2014-10-17 Further Action Required: Yes O.P.I.: General Aviation Narrative: UPDATE: JRCC Trenton Report#[T2014-02448]:(511712N 0703778W - Riviere Falconio). A 406 emergency locator transmitter (ELT) detection was heard approximately 200 NM north of Bagotville, QC. Subsequent Satellite Personal Tracker (SPOT) beacon activation in the same area. 424 Squadron Hercules R344 and 439 Squadron Griffon R439 were tasked. R344 arrived on scene and located a cooperative target. Search and rescue (SAR) technicians dispatched and confirmed 2 persons on board (POB) and in good condition with no injuries.
