Deadly 206 Crash

Very sad event in Abbotsford today. Global news showed footage of a 206 that crashed in a farmers field on take off ( sounds like dynamic rollover by what was described by a witness) subsequently destroying the aircraft and killing a 22 year old female. The pilot apparently left the scene of the crash and so far has not been found. The 206 was apparently being leased by four young pilots/students and being used for training as I understand. My heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of the young woman......hopefully the pilot will be found okay also.

So if the aircraft was beng used for training was the female that was killed the instructor?If not the pilot shouldn't have had her with him if he were on a solo flight,providing that he wa a student?

I guess we'll find out the facts shortly.

From reading the story, not sure what the deal is. They don't seem to really know how many people were on board or if anyone's missing...

What a sad story.

 

It will be interesting to see how this pans out and why the pilot left the scene (if, in fact, that was the case).

This one has suspicion written all over it. Have a friend on the fire dept. He was first on scene. A/c had empty black duffel bags in the back. Police were taking a statement from a lady that lives there and her husband was yelling for her to keep her mouth shut. Local schools have never heard of this a/c or any "training" going on! Oh my, the plot thickens!

well needless to say my phone was ringing off the hook yesterday..............

 

to be totally honest, we have NO idea who these guys are. there is mention of "training" but again, never heard hide nor hair of this aircraft ect......

 

i DO know it has nothing to do with us............

 

but i agree that it does smell really fishy.

 

if i get any info otherwise, you all will be the first to know

 

 

one thing that did piss me off was the sloppy news gathering, but what else is new...... :down:
