just looking 153 Posted October 23, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2015 CADOR Date Entered: 2015-10-23 Narrative: An Oceanview Helicopters Hughes 369D (C-FOHE) was conducting power line maintenance when the aircraft struck a power line and crashed on to an island in the North Saskatchewan River. STARS air ambulance and local emergency services responded. Reports indicated there were two fatalities. Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Trenton, Transportation Safety Board (TSB), National Operations Centre (NOC), Aviation Operations Centre advised. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The helicopter industry lost a great guy, I, and many other that knew him will mourn the loss of such a good friend for years too come. Godspeed Steve Wilson...you will truly be missed.
