Wildcat? are you working with Tyler? Hes a nice guy, in '03 i would sit and watch him fly the bucketing pattern for hours in Osoyoos, that is wear I first met him about 10 years ago ,his dad, another aviation legend, ran a small marina and owned a 47, i think that is where he got his liscence

That would be me.

Hey 204B Driver,

A very nice looking ride! Must be like a real sports car compared to your last ride.

Would you be the gentleman flying Delta's 204 on the Smith Creek fire N.W. of Golden in 2003? If so, I can remember a lot of laughs from the various conversations going on in the bucketing circuit.

Cheers!

NG

Helicopper,

Thats the second time in as many days someone has commented to me about bear paws slowing you down. I had a friend swinging bags in the US and his replacement had the engineer take them off. Apparently 80kts isnt fast enough with a rack of 8. That extra 4 knots makes all the difference. All things aside without those bad boys on the little lady would be squatting in the snow faster than you can imagine. Happy Hunting.

I haven't had a problem with the paws. I haven't had a problem with them slowing me down on my decent to the pickup. The only problem I have seen in my 30 years of flying with bear paws is that you have to becareful lifting out of the muskeg. And that is all I have to say about that. :hide:
