Mark_
Anyone know the cause of this one? Looks like the helicopter was only 3 months old. Thanks. Mark.

Heliian
Sounds like a throttle chop gone wrong. IMO one of the most dangerous manoeuvres for new trainees. Ya, it's only a few feet off the ground but the inputs needed can make for one squirelly landing.
GrayHorizons
reading it, it's pretty clear what went wrong...isn't it??? I mean, they pretty much stated what caused it....

FZFG
I agree, pretty clear what happened. Training accident. End of story. Glad those involved are OK.

freck
I checked out their website and they say they have video inside their machines for training purposes. Maybe they had one in the Cabri. Be interesting to know what caused the loss of control. Pilot error, mechanical or both. But like you said FZFG glad nobody was hurt.
