RADIO TELEPHONY RESTRICTED – (AERO)

RTR (A) is a Professional license, Examination conducted by WPC (Ministry of telecommunication India ) which gives the communication procedure between ATC and Pilots, AME, Flight Dispatchers, Aircraft Technicians and Ground Personnel to communicate with each other.

The radiotelephony operator’s license RTR (Aeronautical) is a mandatory requirement for the use of communication equipment in an aircraft

ABOUT RTR (A) EXAM

RTR (A) License is conducted by WPC Wing of Ministry of Communication, India

RTR (A) exam consists of 2 parts

• (I) Transmission (100 marks)
• (II) Viva (100 marks)

Passing marks for each part is 50 marks. One has to clear both parts to acquire RTR (A) License.
