Definition Of "flight Time"?

Recommended Posts

skyward,

our 407 uses a skid cross tube activated switch that turns on the meter, both hobs and internal clock, THAT is flight time/air time (one in the same), that is what gets logged in maintenance and flight logs, sitting on the ground at flight idle is not required to be logged, as per the definition justfly posted.

contract details as to what gets billed should not affect what the manufacturer or TC says must be logged
