In Memory of Hugh Andrews

Hugh McRae Andrews 1961 - 2019 - On September 15th in a tragic house fire in DeSable, Prince Edward Island; Hughie was lost to his family and the helicopter community.

He will be sadly and greatly missed by his wife and two daughters and all of those of us whom crossed his path in the world of helicopters. He was a unique member of the rotary wing varsity, a professional with a quick smile and joke to help lighten your day.

Hugh was a great guy. I enjoyed BSing with him every time we caught up. Was always easy to get a laugh out of him.

Last we spoke you could tell how much he loved his life and place out east.

I was heartbroken (as we all were) to hear what happened.

Hugh will be missed by many.

RIP Huey - big loss for all of us.  Only met a few times over 15 years, but always had a bottle and a hundred stories to share.

So much knowledge and expertise lost.
