Nabors Trivia:

In the 70s they had an Aztec based in Calgary and graduated to a Cheyyane II.

The pilot at this point did one of 2 smart things.

1.He married Claire's daughter

2.He started NA Aviation in YXD then YYC with guess who's money? They had GIs, Metros, Falcon 20, Lear 35 etc mainly bag running,.

I don't know if he is still married to the daughter but NA Aviation folded a few years back, the owner sold his house at the Bearspaw Country Club and departed for places unknown owning a number of folks lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$

I think I received the last good cheque out of the company about 2 weeks before it went belly up

anyone know who I am talking about?? <_<

pm for answer if you really care B)

Just to add to the rumour mill here..............I little birdy from inside Nabors (and that is the correct spelling  ) has told me that they are in serious talks about leasing/investing/operating a skycrane in the near near future to move a new style fold up and go drilling platform. Anybody else heard of this?
