407 Down?

Read a blurb in the Sun today about a 407 down somewhere north. The pilot is fine but will have to spend the night due to a snow storm.... How is that for vague? Can anyone elaborate?

verbal company memo said not to say anything.

 

pilot is ok and back home. he got real friendly with some SAR techs though.

 

My hat off to those guys for doing what they do when you need them the most !!!

 

regarding the 407......time will tell......weather is still not cooperating very much.....wonder if she's lonely up there ?!

Could this be why the Herc from Winnipeg was up North the other day? Heard the fellas saying there was an ELT going off and once that was sorted out, there was also someone overdue who had apparently landed due to bad weather. That's all I heard on the radio, but it sounds like everyone is okay.
