you have to wonder what people think... we had 2 killed here in sask on the long weekend for not wearing seatbelts... rolled vehicles, ejected, lost the fight with the pavement/road/tree, whatever it was they hit!!

 

the same mentality goes with the wearing of PFD's...

 

hope they are found alive, but as the bird says, not likely... the water ain't that warm yet...

Spent Sunday morning with SAR looking for and locating the body of a guy who mixed a 26er and camping near a swollen river :down: Monday, one of the other boys got a 10.2 mining, yipee

absolutely ryan!... i got my ticket in '81... there wasn't a lot going on during the early 80's... i recall it (very well) as being the toughest job i ever did (looking for a flying job)... the good lord has a habit of looking after fools & drunks... therefore, i was qualified on both counts...

Chased a few mountain goats, moved some mining gear, escorted some water survey dudes around my lake, looked at some pine beetle infested trees... all of that just last week. :up: This week... hangar cleaning due to lack of rich humans willing to shell out large dollars in order to see the world from my jet box.

Flown 3 hours in 2 weeks, waiting for fire. No one has ever seen grass this high before and it is getting Afrika hot here (38c @ 8000pa!). Did fly a turkey Guzzler up the rock.. most excitement , besides getting a/c in the atco trailer!
