Would it be a mop up for a couple of days, instead of a two-month production?” he said. Kudos to them bringing a newish technology to the forefront. A lot of money trying to develop a niche market. It’s a bit of a gamble going to this extreme, considering that conducting normal IA type VFR bucketing operations at 4 or 5 in the morning is frowned upon by most fire fighting agencies that I know of. Winnie 114 Posted July 9, 2020 Report Share Posted July 9, 2020 From having flown near fires with NVG's, that would be extremely helpful. you can even see hot spots that you can't see with naked eye close up at night.
