Transport Canada Medical

Recommended Posts

I would get a couple of opinions from experts too. I had phone call and letter from Transport after ecg showed I had a brundle branch blockage in my heart. Reminded me of someone I knew years ago that nearly gave up his career after an ecg. Turned out the machine was faulty. So I said to Transport, before it goes any further can I get other ecg's. They agreed. Turned out first ecg was faulty...

Makes a person wonder if the "specialized equipment" aka "precision tool" had met the "calibrated to a national standard" standard!  If that even exists in the expected "QA Program" the medical field should have; similar or better than what we're required to have in aviation!

Not sure if you have had this procedure but they do have drugs to remedy electronic signs to make your heart run normal...I know this first hand and it is ok with TC.

Ah that is good to hear that it is ok with TC, I haven't had either yet but it's going that way. Thanks!

I went to a specialist who put me on 2 different meds...both ok by TC...they are common high bp pills...fixed it right up in an hour. One is for signal for the electrical and the other one is for high bp.  Take note...I had this done and then went for the ecg and medical....it would be harder to get your licence back if it is suspended.
