Full On 74
Very sad news morning for the Helicopter world. Richard Alzetta passed away this morning at Foothills hospital in Calgary. Next to his family, Richard’s passion in life was flying in the mountains and passing his knowledge off to aspiring helicopter pilots. Anyone who flew with knows how much he loved to fly. He was an integral part of the success of Mountain View Helicopters and a mentor to many. He will be missed immensely. RIP my friend.

Zazu 76
A great pilot. Exceptional, real world instructor. And it was always apparent that he loved it, whether it was a R44 in the rocks, or a 205 with dual HYD failures and everything above and in between. Safe Travels Richard. Show em how it’s done up there.

sirlandsalot 172
Very sad news. You will be missed Richard, and thank you for the influence you had on all of us.
T-rex 17
Very sad news indeed. About a year ago, we sat down had coffee, laughed, and traded stories, but never thought that would be the last time we would ever speak again. A true mentor to many, and great loss to the rotary community. Blues Skies Richard!
