I believe this is a matter of perspective. 

With all the new Regulations coming along with the rate cutting companies out there it could be the smart move to close the doors and retire from the short fire seasons everyone is fighting for.

And as for the crew turn over there has never been much loyalty in this industry. 

It will be interesting to see where the industry is in the next couple of years with the new Regulations. My bet Remote will not be the last to walk away.

The saying "enough is enough" comes to mind.

I think you’re right unfortunately, they won’t be the last.  The market is the worst I’ve seen it (even worse than the early ‘80s)

In simplified terms that is correct.  It gives companies their early Newyear timeframe to wrap up the fourth quarter properly.
