Lithium Ion ship batteries, anyone using them

Recommended Posts

I was down at HAI last month and saw there are several manufacturers of Lithium Ion aircraft batteries. Has any one used them in the field?

from my research they need to be above a certain temperature to safely charge so most incorporate an internal heater. How long can you leave with out charging before they drain them selves to a critical level?

Thanks

Ask HTSC they have them in their ships.

When i was there we had Tesla batteries in a couple of the machines. Amazing starting power, and self heating and self charging. no convoluted cords or multiples, just 1 110 straight into the ship to power everything.
