T5limit
So there I was - driving down the 401, passing a V-twin oil leak (Harley) and both driver and passenger are wearing old gentex helmets!! I know I''d hate to fall off my ride wearing my work lid. I wonder if it had been dark out if they would have been utilizing the NVG mount? Some people have some funny ideas...... Rotorhead
A few years ago, my good buddy, Gord Innis delivered a 206B to Edmonton and was about to get on the bus for Fort St. John when he spotted a motorcycle for sale that he just couldn''t live without. The salesman tried to sell him a helmet too, but clutched to his left hand was a Gentex SPH-4. He showed up in town a day later with the drop chord whipping in the wind. Firehawk
Gord Innis. Thats funny itself seeing him in a 206. I picked up my bro one day in Calgary when he flew home Calgary with a f-18 and while driving him home I throw his helmet on while cruising down the road with the visor down and the oxygen mask on. Sure get some funny looks.
Phil Croucher
Hmm - don''t try this at home boys and girls - flight helmets are stressed for impact, not being scraped along the roadway..... Phil
