Other problem? Gawd there''s so many!

Oh...that one, it hasn''t reared it''s ugly head yet. Won''t be a big issue because there''s only limited choices.

Heard of any spraying in ON for west nile yet?

pottsy...good to hear the old girl is being rebuilt. By the sounds of it, the only remnants of her might be the fuelling system and the concept of large capacity easily transported.

Now...hows that **** Ag-Nav work again?

Hey chevy 2 and ctd,the old kenworth spray rig was hauled off to be rebuilt. The gear on the back is all that is being used on the new rig and it is getting some serious renovations. The truck itself is being built as we speak. It''s a semi...big rig...not sure of the make. They are having a special frame built for it with special axles. It''s going to be very big. They were trying to get a cement truck(with the cement mixing rig removed but that fell through.)Would love to make it to the golf tourny after the season if I can get the time off.

  • 5 months later...

Engine PTO seals could be one cause (change both seals), maybe the transmission pump (I had that happen to me once). The other thing that can happen is if you are changing a freewheel assembly an accidently omit the cap assembly from within the forward housing for what ever reason or if it is missing on installation the oil level in the transmission will rise, even with no evidence of a leak.

One thing to remember, if you are installing the new 406- part numbered seals do not ust the old type Allsion/R.R. installation removal tool. This seal is different, it is recommended to use the newer type installation tool. Should you want further information contact Bell PSE @ 1-800-361-9305 or if you are in the western part of the world, RR support at (360) 678-1154.

P.S.

The one submitter mentioned that a transfer could not go from transmission to engine, I beg to differ. I had a 206B model do exactly that on an aircraft years ago and it was a pain having to drain the engine tank and fill the M/R XMS. It is rare, but can happen.
