tDawe
Im curious how Great Slave is set up in reference to its partners. A company like Sahtu is listed as a Great Slave partner on GSL's website, but when you look at Sahtu's OC they have all the same types certified as GSL. Do they all share from one giant fleet pool or or does each partner acctually have their own fleet? Are the companies acctually indepentand operations or are they more or less baby GSL's now? tDawe
twinstar_ca
i believe that strategic partnerships of this type allow the parent company to bid on contracts that may have some local interest requirement to them... the actual a/c would come from the parent fleet and are shared as required so that the local company need not have to purchase and the parent company would have higher utilization rates for it's investment... that's just my guess/take on it... i'm not part of GSHL or any of the subsidiaries...
