Helifor Accident

What a horrible tragedy. I worked with one of the pilots as well a few years back. The industry has truely lost some good talent but most of all some really good people. They will be missed and my thoughts are with their families and close friends at this time.

 

As a sidebar, I would have to say that what makes this industry so great is the people I have met and the people I work with. The friendships I have made in the short time I have been flying go far deeper than some of the friendships I grew up with. Please everyone, fly safe and fly smart.

During this time of sorrow and grief, i am, at the same time, uplifted with all the support the people have shown towards the families and friends of the flight crews lost. A couple of non aviation friends of mine has been reading the postings and said to me....."you are truely blessed to be working in and around such a wonderful group"......."Yes",i replied, "yes i am".

So true. the squabbling quits when one of us goes down, and then that's when we see the support there is in this great community.

My condolences to the families of these pilots. In my 30 years of flying I have loss somany friends. I just ask God to put his hands on the families and comfort them in there time of sorrow.

Gut wrenching news. Yet another of our collegues not around and families left alone. I hope the families are well cared for. My respect and condolences to all who knew these guys.
