Skidmark 83
What a horrible tragedy. I worked with one of the pilots as well a few years back. The industry has truely lost some good talent but most of all some really good people. They will be missed and my thoughts are with their families and close friends at this time. As a sidebar, I would have to say that what makes this industry so great is the people I have met and the people I work with. The friendships I have made in the short time I have been flying go far deeper than some of the friendships I grew up with. Please everyone, fly safe and fly smart. Helilog56 223
During this time of sorrow and grief, i am, at the same time, uplifted with all the support the people have shown towards the families and friends of the flight crews lost. A couple of non aviation friends of mine has been reading the postings and said to me....."you are truely blessed to be working in and around such a wonderful group"......."Yes",i replied, "yes i am". I count myself truely blessed, to be a part of it.
