Subsidized Training

I would think that we would need the services of the Workmen's Compensation Board during the process of or shortly after getting our licence.

Actually I have heard of this in Ontario - the well known Col. B_______ of the Bomarc is an example. A fortunate decision of WCB as a lot of us would have never got our licences without him! B)

At one time in the late 70s Employement Canada subsidized some operators to pay for additional training of low time pilots. There was some abuse of this system.
