wideon, i can just see it now, the engineers paddling out in a dorey (sp?) with a new engine and those silly fishermans hats..... :up:

Bladestrike -------your welcome and you deserved that copmpliment in MY opinion. You also pick some weird places to bring in the New Year. :lol:

 

Widgeon ------you land ANYWHERE in ANY twin-engined a/c with one engine "calved" and it better be working just fine again before you take-off OR you better have ONE **** of a good reason for doing so. With that engine U/S and you safely on a pad, you are now not certified airworthy and .......would you make that flight to an ocean rig or ANYWHERE else IF one engine wasn't serviceable when you made your pre-flight and the a/c was already safely on a pad?
