ADF Quesiton

Yep need some help on a ADF qustion. Here are my questions?? There are 3 question and they flow from questuin to question

 

1. An aircraft on a magnetic heading of 090 has a fixed card ADF indication of 060. The magnetic track from the station is

a)150

b)300

c)060

d)330

 

2. using the same info in q.1 to intercept an outbound track of 360 at a 45 deg intercept, the aircraft should be flown a magnetic heading of

a)045

b)315

c)135

d)105

 

3. Using the same infor in q.2 upon track interception, the ADF will show a relative bering of

a)045

b)135

c)225

d)180

 

Ok i can fiqureout q 1 and 2 but #3 i can''t figure out need some help here. the answers are 1. d 2.a 3.b

yes i know the answer is B i gave it to you but can you tell me if you did the problem. how did you come up with it???

IMF,

MH+RB=TTS

045+RB=180

RB=180-045

RB=135

 

MH=Magnetic Heading

RB= Relative Bearing

TTS= Track to Station
