Bell 429

Brought my students to the Bell plant in Mirabel today. We got the royal tour. We didn't get to see the MAPL prototypes, but we did get to see the first two 429s going down the line. The cabin is HUGE ! :shock: Over 200 cubic feet ! That's almost as much as the 412... :up:

 

I especially like the clamshell cargo doors. This machine is gonna rock ! :punk:

 

The only downside is almost everything Bell produces in Mirabel is exported. That sucks the big one ! :down:

had 2 of transport canada's new 407's transit through YQR... posted a pic in the gallery... nice looking birds.. efis in the panel.. going to their new home on the west coast.. thanks to the crews for letting me take a few pics and to the f/w guy who took me airside... :up:

Nice TC 407s; I meant picture of the 429s being assembled, however. La la la!
