egg beater
simple question is the EC-130B4 an entirely seperate endorsment for maintenance or is it just like the B3, nothing seperate required, and included in the AS350 endorsement. I am aware that there is a B2 to B4 conversion course, just as there is a B2 to B3 conversion course (which is not required but good to have)... Frickin' Apprentice!
you get it with the 350 course. Helps to have the 120 course. The fenestron is the same, just bigger. It has the 135 tail and fenestron. The rest of the machne is pretty much the same. Runs a 2B1. Won't lift like the B3, but has a heck of a lot of cabin room. bubba
The 350 type coarse gets you the D,B,BA,B1,B2,B3,B4 and 355 an engine coarse for the arriel 2B would be an asset but you have to go to texas to get it, and eurocopter canada does have a B4 differances coarse. Its really a Heavier B3 with a spacious cockpit a fenestron and dual hydraulics(The fenestron is not off a 120 it's a mirrored EC 135 fenestron)but in the end it's really up to your AMO, if they say you can sign it the liability is in thier hands cheers
