Mark_
Comments on this video gentlemen? I've never swung a line but this guy looks like he's having a little too much fun. http://www.flightlevel350.com/Aircraft_Aér...Video-6066.html Regards, Mark
212wrench
if he is seeding he is not doing a very good job of it.. He's not very good at flying nice paths. If that is a B3 to bad he is not doing that on the top of Mt. Everest then it would be impressive.
Helo-Pilot
I'm willing to bet he was'nt trying to make nice paths. My guess is he was doing some long line training?
Mark_
There was an article in either Heli-Ops or Vertical not too long ago...I think that they were spreading lime into bodies of water to adjust PH.
Skids Up
A whole lot of flying to get very little done. Seeding = poor job Bucket = poor job Training = poor job Only good if you are paid by the hour...!

I remember reading the same article. I'm thinking you're on the right track here.
Guest bag swinnger
Yeah could be fun, but I am not to sure about only flying by mirror. I use the longline window for alot more than longlining.
The fifth element
Yep they spread lime to get a better PH in the forest soil. The so called acid rain is hard on the forest. Pretty standard flying over there... as the Helicopter gets paid by the minute. B3 goes for about 40 to 44 euro an minute. Easy to do ur tracks as u see the line of lime very good.... If u take 10 seconds longer per rotation then the other pilot ur off the job in no time. The flying has to be very efficent. The good thing over there u always have the same 2 groundcrew guys. The passengers r not allowed to open Helicopter door. The groundcrew does everything for u including washing the maschine. So u focus on ur stuff Fly and paperwork. Yes lots of that over there.
