I read Fatal Traps at least three times cover to cover during my ab initio training. IMHO, this book should be required reading for all pilots, and especially for the newbies. It didn't make me want to quit flying, but it sure made things a lot clearer as far as the risks go...

 

I couldn't agree more! I hope to start my training in 2 years and have read this book cover to cover. I learned a ton (most of the things were concepts or things that I wouldn't have thought of but make sense now that I now about them ). This book should definitely be mandatory reading for all prospective/student pilots. This is an excellent book and well worth the price. :up: GET IT!!
