Anyone Get Paid For Maintence Or Ferry Flights

Hi All,

 

Does anyone get paid for doing maintence flights .e.g getting paid there hourly rate for track & balancing etc ?? And also for long Non Revenue flights .e.g switching machines over, or ferrying a machine from one spot to another when the customer isn't paying for it.. Or is that all looked on as part of the job ??

We get flight pay for non-revenue flights (at a lesser rate than revenue). Our weekly reports have a column for revenue flight time and a column for non-revenue flight time. No distinction between ferries and maintenance.

Along the same lines as Skids, OCS (on company service) pay is 50% of your normal hourly flight pay, for services such as repo of an A/C or non-rev flights.

We only pay flight pay for revenue flights, but we also don't hand out a bill when our pilots take family or friends for a ride or a fishing trip. I feel that there has to be a give and take.

Our take is when the company is making money so are the pilots.

Dude! Repo of an aircraft? Does that really happen regularly? You'd think they would bring it back. But I guess at that point one might not afford the fuel.
