Sure seems to be alot of people advertising jobs for engineer's at a time of year I would have thought to be rather quiet for a hiring spree.

i think the employers are trying to out smart each other. yes there is a shortage.

and if they can hire now. they have there staff for the next year without being short. like a retainer. but then again, there is winter maintenance to be done as well. otherwise everyone is scambling in the spring

This season has pretty much come to an end and with the shortage that we experienced this summer most operators have alot of catching up to do and now is the time to "get er done". I hope you guys take advantage to the shortage to get paid what you guys deserve!
