Heli Ops
With so many people here in the helicopter forum thought it might be interesting to see how many hours people have. Heli Ops
twinstar_ca
and just clarify on my vote of the lowest hour category, it's fixed wing and i can't fly for a while because of my stroke... i do have some bootleg cyclic time but will keep the details quiet to protect the innocent.. VERTICAL REF
I said it before...remember, your logbook tells you how good you should be, not how good you actually are...!!!
Winnie
Not enough, by far, I'll start to consider it being enough when I tip the 20.000 hr mark... :groove: :cold: Still aways to go, slightly less than 19.000 to go, will take some time, but hopefully not as much as the first 1000

chinook
seems like it took awhile to get what I have, actually i guess it is awhile compared to others. I do know that my time is quality time. Mountains, longlining, couple incidents, still wanting more though, I look forward to atleast another 5 or ten thousand more. Reddog
You really like this question, don't you, Heli Ops? Like I told you before, and I think all of the other old hands here will agree, it's not how many hours you have, it's what you have learned from the hours you have flown so far. Fenestron
You really like this question, don't you, Heli Ops? Like I told you before, and I think all of the other old hands here will agree, it's not how many hours you have, it's what you have learned from the hours you have flown so far. this is a true response, however, the two will always go hand in hand. I would love to see a correlation between hours and experience, to see how many excell, how many falter, or how many follow an imaginary avarage line, as their time accumulates. Kind of a percentile rating. Wouldn't that be nice, to claim your number of accumulated hours along with your percentile as a true reflection of what experience you have under your belt.
