There was an episode of 'daily planet' on the discovery channel devoted to helicopters and they had a small segment about ultralight helicopters I think they were actually from this company. There was one that was tiny and it was just a frame. I think it was even smaller then the mosquito or maybe it was just the same one without any of the body panneling I"m not sure. Either way it looked fun as **** to fly barely bigger then a jetpack would be plus you get to sit down!

A few vids on the net of this thing.

Learning to hover: VIDEO

Note the "training bars" and lack of helmet. Uh-huh.

Enclosed Mosquito at fly-in:

Was also footage somewhere of a real auto rotation after that weed-eater engine crapped out. Pilot survived, partly because the machine was obliterated before it could cause harm to him.

How about a homebuilt K-Max?

yeah, they started with the Mosquito which has only the metal frame and then had said boat builder from Florida (yep Cole) build the fibre-glass one piece fuselage .. looks like fun, kinda like a one person motorcycle for the air .. I think I read up to 100 km/h and up to 3000m high .. or was that miles and feet?

anyways, kits go from 25k and if you take 10 flying lessons you get a discount .. haha ..

did anyone else notice the tail at 22 second on this video?? i played it over a dozen times and i didn't see the skids or the cabin move in conjunction with the tail movement!

i know the camera angle isn't the best, but **** that looked bad.
