I dunno about hardest to fly, but on a hot day, the BE-55 Baron sure was hard to start! Primer...full open throttle...half mixture...jockey the throttle...don't let go of the starter...intermittent hi fuel pump...chugga! chugga! chugga!....VVVVRRRROOOOOMMM!, mixture up, let go of starter... Ahhhhh!, alt on, charge battery, breath easier, repeat. cj

Now the Tiger Moth was one nasty little beast with a mind of its' own. You flew the pig until it was tied down.

 

The C-45 was like anyother tail-dragger... only way to land it was a wheely...until I had a moose amble out on to the runway at Jasper with me over the fence and commited. It was 3 pointed in a hurry and missed the moose by 25 feet.
