I'd love to give it a go. Now that I've joined the ranks of the "Old Guys", the more creature comforts the better. That crapper sounds especially attractive.

Imagine being 200 nm offshore, you just missed at the rig and all of a sudden the Quito Quickstep strikes.

I think "Favourite" helicopter has a lot of "what was I doing" and "who was I working with" involved.

Having said that The Bell 205A1 "Huey" hands down the bestest, funnest machine I ever flew. With a water bucket even better - with a Water Tank - what can I say - It don't get much better than that.

212 comes close but all those guages to look at and the job wasn't as interesting. Land - water, water, water, Oil rig, water, water, water and Land again.

Of course, Reddawg we could make an exception for the 212 during our sojourn with The UN in Kuwait. That was high on the fun-o-meter!

The 206L-1 was also a nice machine to fly we had some really good ones, I flew C-GLMM over 700 hrs one year with 0, zip, nadda, nary a snag. A really good machine with some real good engineers looking after it.

Who can't say that the B47 wasn't great to fly- especially on floats.

Besides any helicopter is better than no helicopter at all.
