Bell Helicopters is testing the new APRE rotor system that combines the simplicity of the 2 blade teetering rotor system with the capabilty to lead and lag. I believe it is some kind of active polymer used to construct the baldes!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hopefully this system will contribute to more apre heli-skiing.
