My previous post notwithstanding, how many of us have at least thought about trying something like that? Flew under the main transmission line near Spences Bridge years ago in a C172.... bad weather, saw them late and was too scared/stupid to turn aroun quickly.

 

 

Okay I know what You are saying back in the mid 70's I was the engineer picking up 5 206's heading back to Canada when we were coming into St Louis and over the radio coming from our chief pilot was DON"T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
