After a bit of early action back in September, it's all gone very quiet (following some decent rainfall). No action anywhere.

Not unusual for this time of the year, fire season historically doesn't start until closer to Christmas (NSW) and January for Victoria. We're not out of our drought by a long shot, although a green tinge on the grass is leading to a bit of complacency. Trench diggers ripped off the grass behind my back paddock last week, and it's dry as dust underneath. Not good.
