Converting Australian Lame Quals

Hi, I am an Australian Pilot/Mechanic fixing/flying MD500's off the Tuna Boats. I am looking to shift over to Canada when my contract is up in about 2 years and am just wondering what is involved to convert my Aussie LAME ticket (engines and airframes - helicopter) to a Canada M1.

Longranger is about the biggest machine I have worked on with most of my time being on the MD500's. So from what I have gathered I will be elegible for an M1 class AME ticket.

By the time I am ready to come across I will be fully licensed and I can get a written letter from the college in Australia where I did my formal training for the 10 or so written exams that I have passed.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
