As350 Type Course Locations

Where are some schools that offer the AS350 AME type course in Canada. I want to do it in Jan. Northern Lights in Dawson Creek is full for Nov. Thinking about going to Texas for factory course. Does BCIT offer a course?

Eurocopter Canada runs AS350 courses out of Montreal I believe, and looks like they have a course on in January.... have a look at their website for more info.

I know that NLC's course has been revamped and :up: to the instructor(s).

NLC has another one offered in April, as well as both the engine courses.

 

i'm looking into these for my self as long as i pass my CARs exam

Ask them why the R/H rear lower suspension bar bolt head faces outboard. :shock:

Just a word of caution if you go to AEC in Texas.From what I understand, AEC has dropped their Transport Canada training approval.Check it out before you spend the $$.

I heard the same with honeywell's Factory LTS-101 course.

 

TC won't approve a course unless it has a Final Test at the end that covers everything taught in the course.

Yeah, I talked to Laurie today as she is running a S61 course in January I am trying to get on. She also mentioned she is running a 212 course in December as well as a Astar course. Give her a call...........rh350

Give her a call...........rh350 Laurie does a great job with the resources that she has, but tough to do those courses in todays environment without the equipment needed.I Know everyone would like to go to Montreal, Texas, and Mesa... bcit and laurie gives everybody another option though
