Before anyone demonstrates their ignorance concerning Okanagan Helicopters or what they and some of their personnel contributed to R/W aviation in Canada, it would be an intelligent idea to trace the history of the company first. That way, whenever they sling a load with a longline, for example, they will know what company started it first, where that was and who the first pilot was who did so.

Some liked rum by the way, while others didn't. It should also be noted that Okanagan Helicopters didn't have a monopoly on 'di*ks' either. They were and are still liberally sprinkled throughout the R/W industry.........both East and West.

1) Thanks for the congrats on the Bombers win, but unfortunately no team in the CFL goes anywhere in the playoffs without a reliable kicker which the Bombers don't have anymore.

2) You understand correctly concerning Carl and Alf. They separated years later and Alf started Vancouver Island Helicopters. There was supposedly an agreement between the two that Okanagan would not compete against VIH on Vancouver Island for the forseeable future and that was honoured by the two while they lived. Another time....another era.......when a man's word was his bond. Your details concerning Barney Bent may well be true, but I can't confirm that. There are those who can though and perhaps they'll read this and do so.

A patch that added a new angle to Oki/Big C.
