Mark_
Flight instructor and airshow performer doin his stuff. I wonder if he talks to his students about dynamic rollover before or after he demonstrates how to make the 300 dance on the toe of one skid! He also flew one of the 500s in Black Hawk Down. Grab a coffee...it's 8 minutes long.

Mustache Gear
I'm with the other guys!!! If you are in a position to influence others with your flying abilities than you should not be doing thing that are a easy way for a junior pilot to have a roll over, ect.... This kind of stuff is not impressive, the guy who set the top of the CN tower...that was impressive...the guy that preforms a nice clean approach profile to a hospital pad to drop off a life in the balance...now that's flying!!! The boring flights that get you where you want to go with your passengers are the ones that get you respect in the long run. The short ones that result in hammer head and other care less behavior are the ones that get you on youtube then slaged on here....eventually they will bite you in the ***. Trust me I'm speaking from experience....
carholme
Speaking from experience and having the experience are two different things. If you knew who this guy was (Google) and what he does, you just might understand. He is one of the Bob Hoovers of the rotary wing world. If your ego lets you get sucked into attempting this as a beginner, you will probably have a short career. If you look at it from a precision point of view, it is as specialist as a long liners role and neither one of them would neccessarily attempt to do what the other does so well. carholme
SkyPilot
I concur. Nothing incredible about that. I would be more impressed to see who can use the least amount of torque to land on a mountain top.
Freefall
I know a few people that I consider pretty outstanding helicopter pilots and you would never see them do this sort of thing. Helicopters arent a great platform for pilots trying to impress crowds. If you truly are good at what you do, you only succeed in making things look easy. Much better to get into fixed wing if you want to be the crowd hero.
