Over-Talk Posted February 8, 2008 Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 This is all very weird. This is a code 7700 on the transponder, not an ELT signal. Why was 7700 even selected ?? Couldn't the Area Control Center or SAR calculate the speed and altitude of the transponder before the dispatch of the Buffalo. How well can our DND, ACC and SAR communicate ??
