Open 350 On Vista

Has anyone had any trouble or success saving or opening the astar manuals on dvd for windows vista?

I used the same disk that another engineer ran on windows xp and he had no problem. Maybe someone has heard of a link or a driver to download?

Any help or feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. I had trouble running it on Vista. Don't know of any fixes, but it's a moot point since I switched back to XP :punk: .

I run mine on Vista, no issues.

 

I also don't run it off the disk, I've downloaded it into my hard-drive, and bring it up as I need it.

Stupid computers, I thought it was a vista problem! Must be a sony viao problem. Just so everyone knows, Open 350 will not work on a mac, unless you have bootcamp and a copy of windows xp running side by side with leopard on the hard drive

I had to use the program compatibility wizard and tell vista that open 350 was designed to run on xp and presto, program installed.

Should i charge overtime for this? Just kidding

In the start menu, Right click on the program (in this case OPEN350), click properties, in the properties box, go to the compatibility tab, check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and in the drop down box select OS of choice (Win XP in this case) hit Apply, then OK.
