twinstar_ca
Or maybe it was a maintenance dude starting it up. but wouldn't a maintenance dude, qualified to do starts, wanna be on the inside??
skullcap
but wouldn't a maintenance dude, qualified to do starts, wanna be on the inside?? When instructing some fellas on the 500D to start I found it best to be outside beside thepilot as the idle cutoff lock can only be activated by the pilot. The pedals lock and controls are frictioned pretty tight, not so bad to be outside unless the ground is slippery then is silly, " sorry slipped on ice and finger came off starter,,,sorry" ,,,,pretty hard to reach fuel cutoff and hold starter while outside,,, But ya start is slow, and the access hole to the driveshaft damper thingy is off,,,,my guess they have some "issues" .
