Hi

Anyone working in the reserve? I would like some opinions about it, how it is, what kind of flying do you do, etc... all the info you can give is greatly appreciate it

If you are not ex military and hoping to fly helicopters in the RCAF reserve you will find the process rather difficult. Take a look at thier recruiting page but one must be an Officer which means a considerable time investment taking the training just to wear one thin strip on your sleeve.

 

I don't really get the impression that they seek those who were not members of the regular force for pilots.

 

Maybe someone else will have more info.
