sharkbait
http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a121/Sph...39_Offshore.flv Sure is a lot different than crawling out of the tent in the boonies, loading up the rock hounds and blasting off. GoldMember
Passenger tickets, baggage tags, handlers and agents.... pretty pro looking operation. Flew a bunch of stiff wing IFR and every time I see images like this I get the urge to give it a try on the rotary side. Kind of afraid of deep water and sharks though....... Gary Watson
Great video. It looks just like the operation we had in Tuk in the early 80's. Minus the nice building, pavement, nice weather, ramp rats, going home after work, computerized test equipment, etc etc etc. I think it does give a good look at offshore ops from an established land base vs a remote operation. KLM had(has?) a similar operation at Amsterdam when I was there in 91. GW
Rotorboy2
Wow, no swatting bugs, no putting on winter covers, no pushing machines in and out on ground handling wheels... it all looks so 'unlike' helicopters. I like it! :punk:
