Well as long as we are posting profound live and learn pros I will submit a favorite of mine.

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you

But make allowance for their doubting too,

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,

If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breath a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;

If all men count with you, but none too much,

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

When the whole world seems like it's screwed up, it's probably not the world!!

I don't know who said that but it's true.

There will always be differences between people and some of them will be material enough that a "good fit" is impossible. But when someone can't fit in anywhere (or almost nowhere) there should be some introspection. When 40 pilots are happy somewhere I don't quite understand the mentality of somebody saying they're all delusional and should wake up... Obviously the problem is internal.

As for attitude, which you openly mock as if it's a term people who don't know any better use to explain why they're right when dealing with you, the very definition is how you come to view the world and your place in it. A whole lot of people in the world and on this site have had tremendous downturns in their life and have lifted themselves above it... perhaps it would have been easier just to blame outside influences and never turn the spotlight on themselves, but that's not what winners do.

What I truly find offensive about some of your diatribes is that you think 7 is a record... you say it so matter of factly as if we should all bow down at the altar of your prowess... but having attained double digits on more than one ocassion, I offically turn my nose up at your less than satisfactory performance...

I was going to say a few words regarding your childish comments, but I think you have already done that for me. Are you actually this immature, or only trying to make a point. I wonder why you feel so bitter, but then again when you speak like a 14 year old it makes sense. The world must all be about you, or it has to be the others fault. But then again when my son was 14 he already knew better.

I think Mr Wuthridge and Mr Parish may know a little more about running an aviation company than you, they have both built extremely successfull ones, and am sure Danny did his research.

Good luck to ya, it would seem you are more skilled at " pulling " than thinking. Go back to your room turn on the porn and do what you do best.

HV,

Thank you sincerely for those words of wisdom. I was truly impressed, right up to the last paragraph, whereupon I spewed a mouthfull of pop all over my laptop. :down:

Now I'm gonna have to take my keyboard apart to clean it.

You A$$ !!!
